James 2:14 (NLT) What good is it, dear brothers and sisters, if you say you have faith but don’t show it by your actions? Can that kind of faith save anyone?
I see all sorts of levels of faith – from the very shallow to the very deep. I see people who claim to have a lot of faith but their live does not measure up to it. This is a very bothersome to me. There needs to be a correlation between what we profess and how we live. We can’t proclaim one thing on Sunday and another for the rest of the week. If asked, would your friends know about your faith? Would they be able to say that you are even a Christian? Think about that today. Think about how others are seeing you live out your life. Think about how God sees your faith. Are you living out what Jesus taught in the scriptures? Your actions and your attitude and your beliefs prove that you are walking with Jesus or not – not just your words.
