FOUR PRAYERS FOR YOU

Ephesians 3:14-21 (NIV)  For this reason I kneel before the Father,  from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name.  I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,  so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,  may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,  and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.  Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,  to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Prayer # 1 – That You Would Have  STRENGTH

Ephesians 3:16 (NIV) I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,

Philippians 4:13 (NIV)  I can do everything through him who gives me strength. 

Colossians 1:11 (NIV)  being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,

Acts 1:8 (NIV)  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you… 

2 Corinthians 4:16 (NIV)  Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

Prayer # 2 – That You Would Have  LOVE

• We Must Be ROOTED And GROUNDED In Love

Colossians 2:7 (NIV)  rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

• We Must Be KNOW About God’s Love

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,  may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, We should be able to comprehend what is the breadth, length, height, and depth of God’s love.

FOUR THINGS WE NEED TO COMPREHEND

• The BREADTH of Love: wide enough to encompass all mankind
• The LENGTH of Love: long enough to last for eternity
• The HEIGHT of Love: high enough to take us to heaven
• The DEPTH of Love: deep enough to reach the most despicable sinner

Ephesians 3:18 (NIV)  may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 

Ephesians 3:19 (NIV)  and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. 

Prayer #3: That We Would Be Filled With The FULLNESS Of God

THE KIND OF GOD THE WORLD SHOULD SEE
