THE RESULT OF SIN

For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, (Hebrews 10:26 ESV).

One of Pastor Dan's quotes is "Sin wouldn't be so attractive if it's wages were paid immediately."  This is so true.  We categorize sin with - "Oh... it's just a little lie" or "This doesn't hurt anyone but ourselves", etc.  But the truth is - sin is sin and the "wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23).  Over the years, I've talked to people who just don't care about the results of sin.  They are even bold enough to say, "this might lead to a path of hell" but I don't care.  Listen to me - sin is a a very serious thing with God.  It is the thing that separates us from God's presence.  It is the thing that keeps us in a downward spiral of spiritual depravity and emptiness in our very soul.  If you have been on this path - you need Jesus to come and touch and minister to your life right now.  As you come in repentance - He will forgive you completely and throroughly.  Everyone of us  need Him to apply His precious blood to our disobedience and our sinful ways and ask for forgiveness of every evil thing that we been doing. It might be a bold and deliberate rejection of Him and His ways or it might be a subtle disobedience but whatever it is - turn to Jesus and ask Him cleanse and purify your life.  Jesus is but one decision away to bringing renewal to your soul.  He still allows "uturns" and He is waiting for you to turn back to Him.  Don't reject Him and turn away from Him.  His arms are wide and open to you as you come running back to Him right now.
